Genie Magnolia

Originating from New Zealand, Genie is a cross between Magnolia soulangeana x liliflora, it matures into a small tree with exceptionally dark maroon buds that open to deep maroon purple tulip shaped flowers. The flowers are lightly scented and set upright on the branches. Some rebloom continues to take place through the summer months.
