Choice City Select® BulletProof™ Oak

A Plant Select® introduction, this Bur Oak was discovered by Tim Buchanan in Fort Collins, Colorado. After 15 years of monitoring Tim declared the tree resistant or Bulletproof™ to the Bullet Gall Wasp a common pest of many Bur Oaks. It forms a large stately tree with a strong central leader and uniform symmetry. Adaptable to a wide range of soils and moderate drought tolerance.
