Cercis canadensis 'Appalachian Red'

Appalachian Red Redbud

USDA Zone: 5

Height:
20′
Spread:
25′

Description:

This cultivar has the brightest flowers we have seen in a Eastern Redbud. Magenta buds open to shockingly bright pink blooms, often described as neon pink or hot pink, quite different from the lavender tinted soft pink more typically seen in the speccies. It flowers heavily and has excellent dark green summer foliage.
