Upright branches radiate at 45-60° angles from a strong and straight central stem and leader, forming a dense, symmetrical broadly pyramidal canopy. Clean, green, disease resistant foliage turns yellow before falling in autumn to reveal the bright, light grey bark of branches and trunk.
