Craig joined J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co. in June of 2023 and appreciates the ever-evolving nature of the nursery industry—especially the chance to learn something new every day. Prior to JFS, he worked as a territory manager for Willoway Nurseries, gaining valuable industry experience.

His nursery career began in 2010 as General Manager and buyer at Lake Forest Gardens near Pittsburgh, PA. Craig is grateful to the Dambach family for taking a chance on a young 25-year-old—especially since it was there that he helped add JFS trees to their bare root lineup by advocating for Acer rubrum ‘Frank Jr.’ – Redpointe^® Maple.

He and his wife, live in a log home outside Pittsburgh with their three young children who keep life lively and are his daily motivation.
